These two...

...have become quite the pair. Yes, they are up on the roof. Just another Saturday afternoon activity. :)

They both love to build, crave movement and adventure, and LOVE being outside. Cristian is our neighbor, and we treasure him. He absolutely adores Levi and wants to do anything Levi's doing. It's sweet to watch the way Levi interacts with Cristian, accepting his little sidekick and graciously spending hours and hours with him.

We are so blessed to live where we do. Levi gets to speak into Cristian's life greatly. Cristian's dad isn't around, and Cristian looks to Levi as a father figure.

In the mornings before school, Cristian comes over and they study the Bible together. This is good on so many levels, but one that's really important is that Cristian is getting help with his reading while studying God's word. I'm usually gone before Cristian is over, but I love that they have this time together.

Last weekend when Levi was building the porch swing, Cristian was right there with him...asking all kinds of questions and doing whatever Levi asked. Today they kicked the soccer ball around in the yard and some how ended up on the roof. :) With school ending soon, I know it only means many more hours spent on the roof, kicking the soccer ball, playing video games, and taking on new projects. Oh, how it delights my heart....
